n this presentation on Alectrona Patch, we showcased functionalities to automate updates, customize update dialogs, and streamline the deployment process, ensuring systems remain up to date with minimal user intervention. Attendees gained insights into optimizing patch management workflows, handling emergency deployments, and leveraging customization options for tailored software configurations. The team also presented some brand new features, including our new Update All option which will automatically update over 400 third-party apps on your Mac!
Tools to Manage Jamf Pro(s) at Scale – Ryan Ball; Sam Gibbs; Andrew Myers
Alectrona released a new open source tool called Git4JamfPro, a modern replacement for Git2JSS. Alectrona Engineering team members Sam Gibbs & Andrew Myers presented how to use the new tool as well as additional automation tools for managing Jamf Pro, all of which are now available open source on Alectrona's GitHub repository.

Git4JamfPro is designed for CI/CD pipelines that automates the upload of recently changed scripts and extension attributes from source control to Jamf Pro servers, ensuring streamlined deployment and version control without Python dependencies.
Jamf Pro Notifications Alerter is tool designed for CI/CD pipelines that gets all Jamf Pro Notifications from a Jamf Pro server and posts them to Slack using a webhook.
Additional resources provided include Automated Deployment with swiftDialog and SetupYourMac, Automated Deployment with DEPNotify, Remediate Jamf Protect, and Nudge Post Install tools.
